This series of works came about from finding similarities in dancing habits of certain people. This habit is that of dance at their most comfortable. In a task that requires concentrating, dance can sneak in to break out in jerks or a swaying trance in response to ‘beats’. These mixed media prints are a light portrayal of mini passionate demonstrations that resulted in spasms of ‘sicker beats’; with essences of frenzied whimsy, awkward spasms and passionate gusto.
